My professional life, so far, is still the subject of NDAs and dark secrecy. I am allowed to say that I am working at Electronic Arts Los Angeles on one of the new projects with Steven Spielberg. And... that's it. If anyone is interested, my resume can be found here.
In the past, I have worked at/with:
- Interbots, LLC
- Walt Disney Imagineering R&D
- The Center for Applied Biomechanics
- Speculative Computing Laboratory
- American Journal of Ophthalmology
- University of Virginia Department of Computer Science
- Mayo Clinic Jacksonville - Laboratory of Molecular Neurobiology
I learned a lot from all of these places, and I continue to learn a great deal from my work at EA. I'm surrounded by very talented and experienced developers who are sharing their knowledge with me as we try to really push the medium forward. Despite the horror stories, EA has, so far, been a great place to work!
Once my NDA is lifted (or when the game ships, whichever comes first) I might post some random musings here. But probably not, since I'm pretty sure it would have to go through the marketing and PR drones. Maybe you can read between the lines, though...
